The Meduna Bridge was designed as part of the Construction Tender launched by the municipality of Pordenone, Italy.
The project wants to improve road safety conditions by creating an accessible pathway for pedestrians and cyclists. The sinuous and enveloping shape and small-scale perforations create a dynamic experience of the view along the walking path.
This infrastructure is also designed to withstand the flood events of the Meduna River. We imagined it as a new, ideal modern gateway to the Pordenone area.
