The redevelopment of the former poultry plant in Forlì represents a strategic intervention for the recovery and enhancement of a 28,000 sqm area located in a semi-central district, well integrated into the city’s urban fabric. The project addresses the dual goal of regenerating underused land while limiting new soil consumption, in line with sustainable planning principles.
Our design approach is based on three core principles: contextual integration, environmental sustainability, and economic feasibility. Every design choice aims to balance environmental responsibility with long-term value creation for both investors and the community.
The project envisions a mixed-use development combining residential, commercial, and sports facilities, organized around a new urban park that acts as the central element of the proposal. The park establishes ecological continuity within the city, inspired by the nearby Montone River, whose sinuous course is reinterpreted in the landscape design to create a distinctive topography that also functions as a rainwater collection system.
The intervention reinforces urban connections along Viale Risorgimento and Viale dell’Appennino, transforming the site into a vibrant and sustainable hub that promotes social interaction, mobility, and environmental resilience — a model for responsible urban transformation in Forlì.
