BRUZZANO MASTERPLAN - MILAN, ITALY

The project aims to design the masterplan for a large area on the northern outskirts of Milan, part of UnipolSai’s real estate portfolio, covering much of the Bruzzano neighborhood. The district seeks to establish a new relationship between buildings and the landscape, where both elements enhance each other qualitatively. The masterplan envisions a mixed residential neighborhood organized around green “archipelagos” of multi-centered micro-communities, introducing new urban typologies to Milan’s outskirts while fostering an intergenerational community. The proposal creates a sequence of urban and green pockets (from north to south), defining six distinct areas that offer a variety of urban programs and green spaces for public use.
