LA VILLANA WINERY - BOLSENA, ITALY

This project is situated on the border between Tuscany and Lazio, just a few kilometers from Lake Bolsena. It offers an exceptional architectural experience, encompassing the entire winemaking process, from the vineyard to the winery. Drawing inspiration from Etruscan architecture, the design transforms each stage of wine production into a cohesive spatial narrative that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The majority of the winery’s structure is built underground to preserve the natural terrain, while the testing area, the only above-ground element, offers guests a panoramic view of the vineyards and the picturesque countryside.
